The Valpolicella Scholar program is a 4-hour course designed for wine enthusiasts and professionals interested in increasing their knowledge about the Valpolicella region and wines. It is held through VEP-certified educators in various countries under the supervision of the Consortium of Valpolicella Wines.

The terroir and the production areas;

Native grape varieties;

The Appassimento method;

Production styles and winemaking techniques;

The history of Recioto and Amarone.

Commercial and legal aspects

Tasting of all types of Valpolicella wines (17 samples).
A multiple-choice test and a blind tasting will take place at the end of the course to obtain the Valpolicella Scholar Certificate from the Valpolicella Consortium.
N.B. Prior knowledge (e.g. WSET Level 2-3) is recommended
