Wine Paris & Vinexposium 2025 is an unmissable event on the calendar for wine enthusiasts and industry professionals. This year’s edition will be held from February 10 to 12 at Porte de Versailles in Paris, showcasing producers from around the globe. With a truly international perspective, the event will feature a comprehensive program of masterclasses, conferences, and tastings.
This year, there will be expanded spaces for innovative products, including dealcoholised beverages, as well as those related to mixology and sake. Compared to two years ago, the last edition saw a significant increase in both operators and visitors, with impressive statistics that highlight its growth:
– 253 trade visitors
– 148 scheduled meetings
– Representation from 137 countries
– 48 producing countries
For both visitors and producers, optimising the experience is crucial. The official Wine Paris & Vinexposium 2025 portals allow participants to easily create their profiles and schedule appointments of interest. For detailed guidance, be sure to consult the “Tutorial for booking.” Additionally, the page “Optimise your experience” is worth checking out.
The Academy website’s sessions offer industry professionals a unique opportunity to participate in extraordinary masterclasses. Attendees can meet renowned wine and spirits producers and experts, who will share valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the wine and spirits industry.
Last year’s edition showcased the fair’s considerable growth potential, confirming its status as one of the top events in the sector. What truly sets Wine Paris & Vinexposium apart is its emphasis on international producers and the breadth of offerings available, including prestigious events like the tasting of the 2022 vintage organised by the Union des Grands Crus Bordeaux, which will take place during the fair on February 10 and 11.
From a visitor’s perspective, given the expansive layout, I strongly recommend planning your route in advance and making appointments as buyers or journalists. Checking the exhibitor list will be beneficial, as distances between pavilions can be deceptively long.
In summary, what I particularly appreciated about the latest edition was the vast selection of international wines from both the Old and New World. As a certified educator for various wine regions, I found the opportunity to taste such a wide array of wines in one place and meet the producers invaluable. The number of masterclasses available is also exciting, and I advise booking early, as many of them sell out quickly. While some masterclasses operate on a “first come, first seat” basis, I’ve noticed that those fill up quickly as well.
As I noted previously, the value of meeting producers in person is immense. What truly distinguishes Vinexpo from many other fairs is its welcoming approach. The event primarily targets buyers and trade operators, cultivating a highly business-oriented atmosphere. Producers are generally welcoming, viewing attendees as valuable resources, and they demonstrate great attention.
Since Paris can accommodate a considerable number of visitors (including hotels) without significant traffic issues, the overall experience is extremely pleasant. Accessing the fair, booking hotels, or dining out is not problematic. The costs for accommodations and entry are more than reasonable. The official websites offer a wide array of proposals for “Le Off” events, so I suggest taking a look. A dinner with your a producer you admire could also be a delightful idea. For more information, everything you need is available on the dedicated website. All that’s left is to book your spot for Wine Paris 2025—I already have!
